Expectations and Disappointments

MERRY CHRISTMAS MY CUTIE PATOOTIES :)

I have been really lazy on updates and I had too many photos to upload if I wanted to blog, so I think I'd update you, starting from Christmas day! :) Every other day between Christmas and October, I was kidnapped by highly trained ninjas from the Himalayas and forced to be their dancing midget.

SO! Christmas! :) Christmas morning was pretty sad, because instead of waking up to beautiful white snow, we woke up to hail. HAIL. As in hail STONES. Hail is basically, tiny pieces of ice, falling from the sky. I'm thankful they weren't the size of ice-cream trucks, but they still hurt. So, plans for Sunday mass was cancelled because I didn't wanna die from either slipping and falling, or getting hit in the eye, and slipping and falling.

After procrastinating my "rolling out of bed" session, I went downstairs and greeted my hosts and the little kids :) Little 9-yo- James was super excited he ran up to me and said,

"LOOK WHAT SANTA GAVE ME!"

"What?"

"Call of Duty Black OPS 2!"

"I guess Santa must be a very modern guy"

Then during mid-day, I went to Chai and Yang's place to slack till our hotpot session at night! :) It was a really simple gathering, but I really enjoyed myself :) We just sat round talking about our high school life, the good, the bad and the retarded. Then later we made use of the last packet of agar at their place and made MORE orange jelly! :D (I really don't know whether they genuinely like the jelly, or they don't wanna hurt my feelings so they tell me that the jelly tastes good)

Lol, we improvised for this jelly cause the orange peel had a hole in it so the jelly was leaking into the bottom of the cup ._.

Finished product, TA-DAAAA *again*

This jelly was special :) Cause Yang didn't wanna dice it, so he sliced it and placed it perfectly in the jelly mould :) Ain't it pretty!

Hot pot was awesome, and a successful one too :) Minus the part where the oil splattered on people's faces because the sizzling pan on top was too hot :P

We were all sitting round the table, awaiting our painful yet unexpected death.

Overall it was a huge success :) Minus the part where we had too many tao foo pok that we couldn't finish :( sniff. Always remember people, the greatest feeling in the world is not love. The greatest feeling in the world, is biting a tao foo pok drenched in curry, and have the curry slowly and beautifully burst in your mouth. It's like the feeling of a thousand butterflies, in one release. Because, love will always leave you, but the oil from the curry, will forever be in your arteries :)

Have a blessed Christmas :)
