Mini China Town :)

HELLO!

Went to Wing Yip (A Chinese supermarket in Croydon) with Pui Yi, Chai, Yang and Feng today! After being here for around 7 months, today was my first day there. Pathetic huh -__- 

So today I had to meet em up at 12pm, so I decided to not set an alarm, so I could sleep in :) But scumbag brain decided to wake me up at freaking 6 am, reply whatsapp messages, roll in bed till 9, then decide that I should just go get ready instead -_- stupid. stupid. stupid. *grumbles*

Went for a Japanese lunch, did some stationery shopping, then headed off to Wing Yip! :)

Went in to Wing Yip, and was super suaku wei! Saw SO many good food that I have missed for the past 7 months, ALL HERE?! Okay, maybe not ALL, but, most of them! :( And I felt so disappointed! Like, why haven't I found this place sooner! :( But I didn't miss Asian food that badly, but whenever I do, I'd just force myself not to think about it, then I'll be fine again :) 

..... BUT NOT ANYMORE! NO WAY AM I SUPPRESSING MY FEELINGS ANY LONGER! MY TASTE BUDS DESERVE TO BE SATISFIED!

Saw a lot of classic "Asian" food, Pocky, Hello Panda, that Japanese salty flaky thing you put on rice, THEY HAD EVERYTHINGGGGG *echoes*

I saw Hup Tou Sou too! But I didn't wanna get it cause I like warm ones D: And I'm too lazy to microwave it all the time. So I bought just one piece from the bakery! :D

Serving suggestion? Bitch please, I'd eat em all in one go, don't tell me what to do!

Trinh's hairband

HELLO FELLOW BLOG READERS :3

P/s : that's happy me going awwww, thanking you guys for reading visiting blog while strategically trying to hide my huge ass pimple. No worries, you'll get to see him soon :) And by him, I mean my pimple.

This is probably the first time I've taken a photo of what I'm wearing/wore to college cause today I decided I don't wanna dress like a hobo for the remaining of the year. So yea, cheers to the less hobo amanda! :) Let's see how long I'd be able to keep it up k .__. I'd give it 2 more weeks.

So today I decided to be a bit more girly girl and NOT wear a hoodie or a T-shirt like I usually do, to college, and maybe try out the new hairband Trinh gave me!

Adorable eh? Well too bad I'm probably not gonna wear it till my hair grows back. Before I came over to UK in September, my hairdresser layered my hair kao kao -_-, I could even feel stubs sticking out from the bottom layers of my hair near the scalp. And it STILL looks poofy, but it's really thin now, and whenever I wear a slightly harder hairband, it hurts. And this is bloody painful )': During class, I had to slip the hairband down to my neck and make it look like I'm wearing a ribbon collar cause it hurt so bad :x

I felt my head physically shrink after wearing the hairband of doom ._. I will wear it again! But probably when my hair grows back :) Thanks Trinh!! For getting this super cute hairband for me :) I honestly love it, but it hurts. Well as they say, what you love most, would hurt you D:

Anywaysss, had a super vain pot moment this morning while waiting for the bus, and I never knew the hairband would hurt so much, so.. note, this was taken, BEFORE I knew the hairband was trying to kill me.

And I was wondering why my eyes were so dark today ._. But when I came home I had sunken eyes again ): So I guess it was just the lighting *sobs in disappointment*

A day in London :)

Had a pretty awesome day in London today! :) 

Met Fiona at the train station at 10 and headed up to London! Took a bus and got off at somewhere near Oxford Circus :P To be honest, we were both pretty clueless on where the buses in London goes .__. So it was a good guess :P Oh how I love the view in London! You really feel like you're walking in a painting. The buildings are gorgeoussssss :(

The view outside Gilly Hicks and Hollister. This was where the hot topless Hollister guys paraded round London, the photo that went super viral on Facebook. Went into Hollister and LOVED the hoodies there D: They felt so comfy and were pretty reasonable priced :/ And not to mention the hot sales people @_@ The girls were super gorge in mini dresses, and the guys in their unbuttoned shirts had really really toned bodies :/ And I mean, REALLY toned :/ Oh well, they were hired for their looks anyways :/ And it's true, to be a Hollister staff, you must have the looks :/

Ahh Burberry :) Someday, just someday :P HAHA Then Fiona brought me to Hamley's! The largest toy store in the WORLD *twirls round the room with my arms wide open* :DD

 After walking round Hamley's, we did a little shopping :) I didn't buy anything though :P But Fiona did! Then we had lunch at this Mexican place! I always thought the stereotype for Mexican restaurants were, you're gonna have a lot of toilet time after the food. But surprisingly my tummy's doing awesome! :P

Cute description on the serviettes :) Then we continued walking and Fiona wanted to get a card for her friend back in Hong Kong, so we stopped by this gift card shop, and at the counter I found..

 Creative condoms. HAHAHA! The person who came up with this obviously had nothing better to do :P Then we went to a souvenir shop with a LOT of hoodies! And I saw this pretty red one but it said London on it D: And I always rant to my friends on how I dislike clothing's with flags of either the UK or the USA on it :( I find it very tacky. So I walked away, even though the shop keeper gave me a 5GBP discount cause they didn't have my size :( He was like, YOU DON'T REGRET! YOU'LL NEVER FIND A PRICE LIKE THIS! D:

Aaaaand, after being indecisive manda for another 15 minutes, I returned to the store and grinned at the same guy, and asked him whether I could have the 5GBP discount again :P He said no ._. Well teasingly. So yup! I finally got the hoodie! :)

 I admit I kinda drown in the hoodie cause it's a unisex M :( But I think it'll be fine! No? :( IT'S SUPER COMFY *self-comforts* And I'd probably wear it to sleep every night during the winter :)

iPhone 5

WHAT A TIRING DAY!

Woke up this morning

Thought I was late, ran for the bus, turned out to be 30 minutes early for class -___-

Oh well, fast forward to lunch timeeee :)

Apparently those who pre-ordered it, got their phones today :O Which is pretty awesome :) I guess I'm not too up to date with all this apple business. I always hear people saying " ehh, I hear the iPhone FIVE is coming out soon lehh " But I always thought it was just rumors :P So when I saw the iPhone 5, I was pretty amazed I guess :) Or maybe I'm just ignorant, or maybe I just don't give 0.1 shits about new IT gadgets :/, probably both.

So here it is people! The iPhone 5! :) It's evidently longer, and it is SO much lighter than the previous iPhone, and it's so sleek :) Maybe cause it's new so everyone's gonna make a big fuss about this. But it'll die down after a while. But what I couldn't believe is the SIM card used for it. Apparently they're now using the "NANO SIM", which is x10^3 SMALLER than the "MICRO SIM"-__- I really don't get the point though :/ But oh well. Apple is apple.


It felt so nice to hold, to slide my fingers on it's smooth surface, to bounce it gently up and down to feel the weightlessness of the iPhone 5, to caress it slowly as though I was stroking a new born kitten, and to realize..... It's not mine -__-

Hello Croydon

HI! :D

Currently in my second week of college now and I haven't blogged for quite some time, sooo I'm just gonna end my night with a short update :) 

Oh yeah, btw, I'm starting college as a new A-level student now, since I changed my mind to do veterinary medicine instead of law :/ Which was a huge leap, and a huge sacrifice, for me to start over and spend another 2 years in a small college in Croydon *rolls eyes*, but most importantly for my parents, since they're the one paying my fees :( 

Will talk about my subjects and teachers another time :) But for now! I'm going to bed, cause I have to wake up for a 8.25am lesson tomorrow, extra chemistry class *rolls eyes again* The worst part is! That college starts at 9! And I have to be there at 8.25am. And for me to reach college in time, I have to wake up at 6, since I take hell a lot of time in the morning trying to find things -__- I'm untidy :( It's a curse D:

Plus tomorrow I'm having an almost-full-day. From 9, oh wait sorry, 8 FREAKING 25, till 5pm. In the middle I have a break but I have to rush Economics homework since I forgot to bring paper back from my locker in school -_- Hence, my excuse for not doing homework tonight :P But anyways, I have an economics test tomorrow )': 

So I'll be heading to bed now! Goodnight! :DD
